Burnt Ash Publishing, the specialist publisher of books on aviation history, has appointed Chris Lloyd Sales and Marketing Services to handle their sales, along with Orca Book Services who will handle their distribution. The appointments will take effect from 1st October 2019.
Burnt Ash specialises in illustrated aviation history books, with particular emphasis on airlines and airliners, especially from the so-called ‘Golden Age of Flying’.
Burnt Ash founder, Malcolm Turner, said: ‘We are delighted to have appointed Chris Lloyd and Orca to help us market and distribute our range of aviation history books. Chris and his team have decades of experience in marketing non-fiction titles and have a proven track record in the specialised areas of transport and aviation. Orca Book Services, who also specialise in non-fiction, have a long-standing reputation for efficient distribution on behalf of many different-sized clients. We look forward to working with both organisations.’
Burnt Ash Publishing’s first title: BOAC and the Golden Age of Flying, will be released in October. Three further titles will follow in the spring of 2020 and the company plans to have published twelve books by the end of next year.
